Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Massage Therapist to join our team at Olympus Spa. As a Massage Therapist, you will be responsible for providing high-quality massage treatments to our clients, promoting their health and well-being. Your expertise and professional touch will contribute to our spa’s reputation for excellence.
Responsibilities:
Perform various massage techniques to meet our clients’ individual needs and preferences.
Maintain a clean and organized work area, ensuring that all massage equipment and supplies are sanitized and ready for use.
Communicate effectively with clients to understand their specific concerns and objectives for each session.
Create a calm and relaxing atmosphere throughout the spa and during massage treatments.
Educate clients about the benefits of regular massage therapy and suggest appropriate treatment plans.
Uphold spa standards of professionalism, including consistently providing exceptional customer service.
Keep up-to-date with industry trends, new techniques, and best practices in massage therapy.
Collaborate with other spa staff to coordinate treatments and enhance the overall spa experience.
Requirements:
Valid certification or license as a Massage Therapist in the state of Washington.
Proven experience as a Massage Therapist, preferably in a spa setting.
Sound knowledge of various massage techniques, including Swedish, deep tissue, body wraps, and therapeutic back treatment.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to listen to clients’ needs and provide appropriate recommendations.
Ability to create a calming and relaxing environment for clients.
Excellent time management and organizational skills.
