Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Massage Therapist to join our team at Olympus Spa. As a Massage Therapist, you will be responsible for providing high-quality massage treatments to our clients, promoting their health and well-being. Your expertise and professional touch will contribute to our spa’s reputation for excellence.

Responsibilities:

• Perform various massage techniques to meet our clients’ individual needs and preferences.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area, ensuring that all massage equipment and supplies are sanitized and ready for use.
• Communicate effectively with clients to understand their specific concerns and objectives for each session.
• Create a calm and relaxing atmosphere throughout the spa and during massage treatments.
• Educate clients about the benefits of regular massage therapy and suggest appropriate treatment plans.
• Uphold spa standards of professionalism, including consistently providing exceptional customer service.
• Keep up-to-date with industry trends, new techniques, and best practices in massage therapy.
• Collaborate with other spa staff to coordinate treatments and enhance the overall spa experience.

Requirements:

• Valid certification or license as a Massage Therapist in the state of Washington.
• Proven experience as a Massage Therapist, preferably in a spa setting.
• Sound knowledge of various massage techniques, including Swedish, deep tissue, body wraps, and therapeutic back treatment.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to listen to clients’ needs and provide appropriate recommendations.
• Ability to create a calming and relaxing environment for clients.
• Excellent time management and organizational skills.
• Dedication to maintaining professional boundaries and confidentiality.
• Commitment to promoting the health and well-being of our clients.
