Why did I get into the field: I have always been passionate about helping people, as well as the fascinating physiology of the human body. With this, I found my calling in massage therapy, where I can translate my compassionate, caring nature into helping people relax and enjoy their lives. I use healing massage as a means of physical and mental self care.

What I do in my spare time: I enjoy family time especially as a new mother, traveling, being outdoors, yoga, and roller skating.

Personal paragraph: I am passionate about women's health and enjoy coming to work to help create a relaxing and revitalizing environment for women. As a new mom myself, I especially working with mothers. Self-care is incredibly important to me and as such, I'm constantly pursuing knowledge and experience in holistic care so that I may pass their benefits along to my clients.

Why did I get into the field: I've had a life-long interest in health and well-being. My interest took on more direction after experiencing the amazing effects of massage on my own body and emotions during a particularly stressful time in my own life.

What I do in my spare time: I love riding my bike in the morning, walks, hikes, appreciating the abundance of beauty in our native plant life, spending time with friends and family, and learning ways to improve my own well-being and relationships.

Personal paragraph: I truly love the unlimited healing art of massage and feel its an honor to be trusted into another's space of self care. My role as an LMP is a nurturing, intuitive facilitator towards balance and healing in partnership with each unique client.

Why did I get into the field: I believe my calling in this life is to hold space and help facilitate healing in others. I consider it a true blessing and I am thankful for each client.

What I do in my spare time: I spend my time off from work recharging my mind, body and spirit. My two year old daughter and I enjoy exploring nature together. I find meditation to be an infinite vessel of healing and aspire to do it daily. I love a good book and acquiring knowledge on my interests.

Why did I get into the field: Body work has been a life long interest. Mom introduced my siblings and I to Reflexology as children. Later, massage helped in injury recovery, leading to my enrolling in Ashmead College.

What I do in my spare time: I am an avid gardener, having created a calm, peaceful space at my home in North Seattle. I read voraciously and enjoy traveling whenever is possible.

Personal paragraph: I am a mother at heart and a healer by trade and calling. I came from Florida 10 years ago and am still adjusting. I believe in the sense of touch. I connect to the body energy and I hear and feel the communication transfer in the body and I do what the body calls me to do. This spa is the best place to work for!

Why did I get into the field: I decided on massage because I always feel so good after any massage. I wanted to do the same for others. I am doing massage because I want to help others heal from mental, emotional, and physical pain. I do energy work for the same reason.

What I do in my spare time: In my time when I am away from the spa, I like to hike, take pictures, paint and draw flowers and animals, read, and garden.

Personal paragraph: I came to Olympus Spa with 9 years of experience. I became interested in energy work (certified) and sound healing in the last 5 years.

Why did I get into the field: I pursued my massage education after I started my coursework in acupuncture. Curiosity about the body and how it works fueled my desire to study massage, as well as the experience of getting some amazing body work from friends going through school.

What I do in my spare time: I play music in a marimba band, love to cook, and get outdoors whenever the sun is shining!

Personal paragraph: My work is influenced by the years I have studied acupuncture and Chinese medicine. I often incorporate acupressure points or reflexology into my work. I strive to find the right rhythm and balance between relaxation and treatment work to leave my clients invigorated and renewed after a session.

Why did I get into the field: I received amazing care and massage healing after several motor vehicle accidents. I felt a calling to give back to the world and community by training in massage.

What I do in my spare time: I love to dance! Free form ecstatic is my favorite way to explore expression of life thru my body. I also love the outdoors and go hiking and biking. I also love playing with many forms of creating art.

Why did I get into the field: I've always had a passion of taking care of people and giving back! The transformation of the skin is immensely satisfying, and to make my client feel relaxed and beautiful is a plus!

What I do in my spare time: Volunteering, traveling, hiking and mommy days!

Why did I get into the field: I always wanted to do something in the young beauty industry since my grandma hair salon when I was young. I discovered a skin care product that completely changed my skin when I was 16 and after having a facial  in 1999 finally decided to pursued in skin care.

What I do in my spare time: I like hiking, traveling locally and overseas, and studying about skin care and herbal remedies.
